Work. Life. Culture. AI.

One of the biggest things I’ve realised is that AI and company culture can’t really be separated. Or they can be — but if you do, you miss a massive opportunity.

As a leader, I feel a deep responsibility to give people the skills that I think are going to make a massive difference to their future careers. But it’s not just about work. I’ve seen how AI makes a difference to people’s lives — it gives them confidence, helps them overcome insecurities, helps them be creative. It’s personal as well as professional.

One thing i'm proud of is how AI has become this cultural meeting point. When you get people together to learn it — in a fun way, in a human way, not too polished — it becomes something people actually want to gather around. Hackathons, silly songs, cross-functional projects. It’s been as much about connection as it has been about the tech.

And yeah, I think we were lucky. We were able to influence culture because we were given the freedom to do it our way. We didn’t have to stick to brand guidelines, we didn’t have to check with a hundred people whether it was okay. We just reacted to what people wanted and needed.

That freedom meant we could actually democratise AI enablement. We didn’t build a tool just for one team to be “the AI people.” We gave everyone the technology and the tools to make AI part of their work. Not for the few — for the many.
